The fine print
Privacy
- Checker: the text you paste and the boxes you tick are checked on the server and sent back in the page. They are not saved to the database, not written to logs and not sent to anyone else. The page is marked not to be cached.
- Family Card: holds what you type into it (phone nicknames, which steps are done, trusted names and numbers). It is opened by a private key kept in a cookie and in your card link; the site stores only a scrambled form of that key. Delete the card at any time from its page.
- Limits: to stop abuse, the site counts checks and new cards per day against a scrambled form of your internet address. Those counts are deleted within 4 days.
- No accounts, no email, no ads, no tracking scripts. The web server keeps standard access logs (address, page, time) for security, as every web host does.
