About
About PhoneSupport.co
A self-help website for the most common phone problem there is: a call or text that wants your money, your codes or your number.
It has three parts: a checker that looks for the warning signs the FTC publishes, a lockdown checklist of one-time phone and carrier settings, and a private Family Card to keep track of the family's phones and the real numbers to call back.
What it is not
- Not a support line. There is no phone number to call and no staff to talk to.
- Not a scam-proof verdict. The checker can only say which listed signs it found. A message with none of them can still be a scam, and new tricks appear all the time.
- Not connected to Apple, Google, Samsung, any mobile carrier, the FTC or the FCC. Phone menus are described in general terms because they differ by maker and version.
Who runs it
PhoneSupport.co is made and run by WeldonPC.com, an IT company in Ohio. The warning signs and steps are written from the public pages listed on Sources.
